…….she is so cool you have to say her name 3 times Marsha “The Songstress”Ambrosius, she was one half of the funky duo Floetry……notice I said was…..the group reportedly broke up sometime ago, but Marsha continues to move forward….she is one of the best kept secrets in the music industry……..her credits include singing and writing songs with artist such as Macy Gray,Alicia Keys,Jazmine Sullivan,Outkast, Jamie Foxx,Justin Timberlake…..and even the great one Micheal Jackson…..that was her voice on Butterflies…..actually it was her song Mike liked it and wanted to use it and the rest is history, be on the look-out for her new album coming out hopefully really soon……
The Magnificent
…….he is the hottest rapper in the game right now his name Rick Ross…..it kind of just rolls of the tongue….Rick Ross…Mr. Ross has no doubt the best rap album of the summer, and if you talk to some hip-hop fans they will say his latest album “Deeper than Rap” is a classic……I have to agree….it’s the only rap album I have really enjoyed this summer, actually it’s probably going to end up as best rap-album of the year….Ross is very gifted when it comes to lyrics and clever metaphors….and some good beats don’t hurt either….if you are a fan of rap then this is definitely an album you need in your collection…..
A splash of Color
……David Bromstad is his name and color is his game…….he is the host of HGTV’s “Color Splash”…….this guy is very talented and in my opinion has the best show on HGTV, he has a knack for putting together some really incredible vibrant designs…..Mr. Bromstad is an artist, and he displays his talents by creating original art-work for each episode, whether it’s a table with 5 legs or a huge mural of a goose, he knows how to make it blend in and stand out!!…I wish he would re-do my place….

………some would say he is single handily keeping radio alive…..grown folk topics and grown folk conversations that is what you will find on “The Micheal Baisden Radio Show”…..he keeps his audience on their toes with his quick witt and his brash style of comedy……his sidekick Mike Willboughn will leave you in stitches, they are a match made in radio heaven….Mr. Baisden is also a very talented and successful writer, he has several popular books, and two of them have been turned into stage plays….eventually they will no doubt hit the big-screen one day….wait there’s more he is also a host of a late night talk show on the TV-One Network……it’s self-titled…. and I have to say I have even enjoyed watching the re-runs because the topic of conversation is always provocative, and the musical guest are always very special!

Okay alright …it’s time… hey Beyonce’ we know you’re great you can do all these wonderful things,we digg ya music and your movies…Obsessed was a cool movie!….but ya know its time to tone it down a little, we all know you can work it and shake it and even break it down, but do you have to break it down all the time,come on give the little girls some breathing room…..rap music already has today’s young girls trying to learn the latest lil ‘nasty dance these guys are pushing on us….so I’m saying to you you’re at the top we all know that ……maybe you could tone down the sexuality,my daughter and I both luv ya, and we enjoy watching you’re videos ,but it’s getting harder (wrong choice of words)….it’s getting more difficult to watch your great videos…..I know you give it you’re all in every single thing you do…….that’s great!!…but I don’t want Jae’Den (that’s my daughter she’s 9) feeling that she has to use or explore her sexual side to enjoy videos & music…..so could ya tone it down a little bit…….please

Hello everybody this post is dedicated to my favorite barbershop/salon …….it’s called “Cutt-N-Up” and it’s located here in Renton,Wa…….I must say that this place is one of the coolest places to get your hair done….why?……well the staff is very joyful and pleasant and there is is always a hot topic being discussed,you never know what’s being talked about when you walk in those doors!

Felicia the owner of Cutt-N-Up she has been doing hair for over 12 years now,she finds the business challenging yet rewarding because of her loyal customers…..her mother lead her into the hair styling business and she has flourished in the business ever since….she loves to cut & color and create beautiful styles for her customers!

O.G. they call him that because he is the Original Gangsta of the shop, he finds that the business has stayed the same only the hairstyles have changed,usually gets the older gentlemen because they are more comfortable with him,but he also gets his fair share of young guys in his chair…..he is a great source for stories, if you have a barbershop you need these kind of cats to hip the young folks!

Tatum hair brading extraordinaire,she will hook you up with braids,fades, lines,& designs, she has spent 6 years in the shop and considers herself a trendsetter when it comes to hair braiding, I ‘ve seen some of her work and I have to say it’s really artwork the way she braids hair!

Kyle a real down to earth brother,he’s been cuttin hair since 1990, he gets his inspiration by staying up on the latest fashions and trends by watching entertainment stars & athletes,and of course his clients…Kyle has a cool funny witt about himself,you will definitely be entertained when you take a seat in his chair!
Dominique
Domo short for Dominique at the time of this photo shoot she was celebrating her 11 year anniversary of hairstyling!!…she stays up on the latest trends & styles by talking with her clients,she does all types of styles but her most challenging is a full hair of sewn in weave…….usually takes up to 90 minutes to complete….but she has the patience to complete your design.
Tobb
Tobb, this is my personal hairstylist, I’ve been going to him for about 6 years now …….i have to say it’s hard to find a good barber and when you do you want to stick with them,Tobb has been cuttin’ heads for 8 years now…..he stays up on current fashion trends and says the Mo-hawk is a popular hairstyle for young men now…….he has also had the pleasure of cutting the hair of NFL Hall of Fame QB Warren Moon!! …..Tobb also cuts a variety of Seattle Seahawks, so the next time you see a nice clean cut Seahawk Tobb probaly did it…..he says “Hopefully one day my goal is to own my own shop and help young men understand the quality of life,and also help them realize that you get more out of a barbershop than just a haircut!!

Hey hope all is well, I just wanted to say I wasn’t alive to experience your breakthrough in Hollywood, but I really admire the spirit and determination you have, these young women off today can really learn something from your experiences. I feel sad that you were blacklisted in the 50′s, and that MGM didn’t have the courage to cast you in more movies, I feel the world has been robbed, but the work you have out is considered classic in my book. One of my favorite movies of yours is “Death of a Gunfighter” interesting movie,we can’t forget about “The Wiz”, your special appearances on The Cosby Show, Different World, and even Sesame Street will go down as classic moments in television history.
