Tyler Perry vs. Spike Lee
Hey everybody, wasn’t it beautiful this past Saturday afternoon, the topic we had has was very intresting, we asked you who’s movies would you rather see Tyler Perry or Spike Lee, a good portion of you said Tyler Pery, and a good amount of you said Spike Lee, we did this strictly for fun we weren’t trying to say one is better than the other, because they are both very talented at what they do, we also wanted to know your’e favorite Spike and Tyler movies, here are some of your comments from Saturday:

John in Seattle says: It’s hard to determine who is better, but they both make movies that make you think!
Sandy in Seattle says: I like them both, but Tyler ‘s movies are more family friendly and I can take my grandchildren to go see his movies, with Spike it’s not always family friendly.
Tenile in Federal Way says: Her favorite Spike Lee movie was Inside Man, she is also glad they are making Inside Man Part 2, she enjoys Spike Lee movies.
Debra in Kent says: Spike Lee movies are more enjoyable because they are very artistic and more realsistic than Tyler movies, but I do love and respect Tyler Perry.
Sharonda in Kent says: Her favorite Tyler movie is “Daddy’s Little Girls”, it was a very heart warming and touching story.
De’Dra in Seattle says: The last Spike Lee movie she saw was Malcolm X, it was his best movie, his other movies that came out didn’t really inspire her to go out and see them, Tyler is doing his thing right now, he is opening the door for other black authors.
Jackie in West Seattle says: Tyler Perry movies anyday over Spike Lee they both have good messeages, but Spike gets caught up in always making a statement , just stick to making movies Spike!!
Patti in Seattle says: They are both good, but Spike lost his touch after Malcolm X, her favorite Tyler Perry movie is “Meet the Browns” because it reminds her of home.
Well I like and support both Tyler & Spike they have both inspired me to write and create what I feel, without them making movies would be stuck with those awful Hollywood stereotype movies, so I say make sure you go out and support both of them. My favorite Tyler movie is now “The Family that Preys” and “Meet the Browns” My favorite Spike Lee movies are “Do the Right Thing” (which I saw seven times during that summer it was out) and of course “Malcolm X” and “School Daze”.
